Sacred Yew is the business name of the photographic artwork and writings of Louise Hargreaves. Sacred Yew’s website is a platform for showcasing and purchasing selected pieces of original, photographic artwork by Louise Hargreaves.

We will hold individual data only for the length essential for the satisfaction of the above purposes.

3.1 Email enquiries:

Your contact details that you provide will be retained for the reasonable duration in which to achieve a satisfactory response to your enquiry.

3.2 Newsletter email subscriptions:
Sign-up for this list is done voluntarily by an individual.
The data collected for our e-mailing list includes your name and email address and is processed and stored through a third-party service, Mailchimp. Their privacy policy can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
You have the option of leaving this email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in the newsletter or emailing us at enquiries@sacredyew.co.uk and asking us to unsubscribe you.
3.3 Online purchases:
The data collected for our online shopping cart includes your name, postal address, email address and preferred payment information.
Your payment is processed by a secure payment service. We use the payment processor Stripe. Stripe’s privacy policy can be found here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
We will never share your name, postal address, email address, any credit/debit card details or Stripe transaction details with anyone else.
We need your postal address to send you your goods. We will not keep a record of your personal or transaction details for any longer than is necessary. We are obliged by law to keep details of financial transactions for seven years. We cannot control the records kept by Stripe.

Sacred Yew is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information you provide is treated confidentially, and is never sold, rented or shared to third parties for marketing purposes. Your personal information will never be passed on to any companies other than those mentioned in this policy that are strictly necessary for us to fulfil an order payment or issue a newsletter.
4. Information that is not collected by Sacred Yew
No payment information is collected. All payments made via credit/debit cards are done through a secure payment system which do not allow Sacred Yew to access your payment details.
5. How long data is held by Sacred Yew
Sacred Yew will only store data for as long as necessary for the relevant activity you have enquired about, or the services you have accessed.
If you choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter, MailChimp will retain your details as an unsubscribed contact as a compliance measure (to evidence the fact that you have unsubscribed and to prevent you from being added back onto the list unless you later choose to re-subscribe). If you wish to have your data removed from the list you can contact us to manually delete your record rather than ‘Unsubscribe’.
6. Cookies
Website usage information is collected using cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
